What is the difference between an Estate Sale & a Garage Sale?
An estate sale is conducted by a professional which is contracted to dispose of a substantial portion of the materials owned by a person who is recently deceased or who must dispose of his or her personal property to facilitate a move.
A garage sale (aka a yard sale, tag sale, moving sale ) is an informal event for the sale ofused goods by private individuals, in which sellers are not required to obtain business licenses

How does buying from your Estate Sales Work?
Some items will be marked with our asking prices. Unless attached to the estate or otherwise marked, it is for sale! Feel free to make a deal with us! We encourage bundling items together and negotiating!
How do you figure out your prices?
Current local supply and demand dictate the prices for the majority of items, unless it is a specialty item. Maker, Material, Condition, Intrinsic, Current Market Value.. these are some of the factors that we take into account when pricing a item.
Example: a used Wood China Hutch. These items are very easy to acquire, heavy to move and hard to sell. Over the last 5 years, the demand for china hutches have really declined due to a dynamic shift in home entertaining styles. A standard hutch that once commanded prices in the $500-1000… is currently struggling to sell even at the $150-300 range.
Unexpected Treasures: Whilst staging the library of an estate, we noticed a book about the artist Salvador Dali. We opened up the book and found a one of a kind sketch by Salvador Dali. Needless to say, the consignor was quite pleased with our discovery!

For the most part, NO. In order to legally sell Ivory, each piece needs to acquire ESA antiques exemption status.
How long does the Estate Sale process take?
After one of our staff meets up with you, then we can tell you how long it will take. Size of estate, location, merchandise and situation help us determine a time frame. An average size estate sale (3 Bedroom, 2 Bath, 2 car garage) is normally completed after a 3 day sale and one clean up day.
